Student Spotlight: Thomas Fish
Thomas Fish, 2015
Thomas Fish is a Junior Anthropology and Philosophy double major from Pittsburgh, PA. He joined the GIS team fall of his freshman year. “I came to Washington College in part due to GIS. When I mentioned my interest, I was brought to the lab,” Fish shared. He has been involved in many projects over his years as a student, including time-sensitive projects for the Maryland Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention and law enforcement agencies. This year his focus has been on the Cambridge Project, allowing him to complete tree canopy and storm water runoff analysis for Cambridge, MD.
Fish’s last summer as a student of Washington College will be spent in the GIS lab, continuing work on his current project for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). He'd tell you what that was about but then he would have to...., well you know.
